We pray for ionanet visitors every day... Mostly we pray that you will be drawn to and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. We also pray that His will be done in your life; that He would prosper you spiritually and materially; that you would be filled with His peace, joy and love.

Keeping it Simple
Most of ionanet doesn't use frames or force you to listen to music or download plug-ins. We want the site to be easy and fun for EVERYONE whether they have a big, fast computer or an older one with an early browser version. The graphics on some pages are a bit slow to load but are worth the wait. If you experience any problems on the site, please let us know.

A Brief History of ionanet

My first foray into cyberspace was a disaster! I gave up on the web after just two days and didn't venture back for over a year...

God led me to create a witness page for Him, but I had no idea how to do that so used one of those online sites where you don't need to know any HTML. The page was simple, tacky and trite... not at all what my Master deserved!

Disgusted with that first effort, I set out to learn web design, got a domain name (the ads they ran on my free pages were not always wholesome) rented some server space, etc.... and ionanet was born.

Five years hence, I had done over 4,000 pages for ionanet and others, and although I did almost no advertising, we've had over 3 million hits in one 12 month period! The Lord just leads people here!

ionanet is a Ministry
What started out as a one page witness for Jesus has become a fulfilling ministry providing free graphics and web design and hosting to churches and other legitimate ministries; a resource for Christian information; a Christian women's outreach and webzine; affordable design services for Christian business people; a special Jesus site; a wholesome place in cyberspace... and much, much more!

I never had time to list with search engines nor money to participate in banner programs, yet the volume of visitors to ionanet has rivaled many commercial sites with huge advertising budgets. With all this growth, costs of operation soared, and in time I had to return to the work force. Now on medical leave, I am trying to rebuild our internet ministry... the web sites are in a shambles! As ever, God's leading and His timing will prevail. We will continue to serve in any way He calls.

NOTE: Some of the links above do not work. Some organizations no longer exist. Some may have changed their URL. I will search them out when higher priority chores are done. Please be patient as I tidy up the site.
