iona's blog

It's a journal. It's a devotional. It's a record of a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) survivor. It's documentation of God's activities in real time. There are good days and bad, happy times and sad... I tell it like it is. This is an unscripted walk along the meandering paths of my mind. My life has never been dull... and I've never known boredom. Read on, you'll see...

Still Cold

Saturday, and almost three weeks since I came down with this cold. I've been better for a few hours to almost a day only to relapse every time. It's getting old!

I dusted and tidied the house today but have not really cleaned since I got sick. Richard and I went to the hot tub this evening hoping it might help break up my congestion. It felt good to soak in the steamy, bubbling water, but I came out of it as stuffed up as I was going in.

I am praying to be well enough to go to church tomorrow. I miss worshipping with others who love the Lord, but I don't want to infect anyone either.

I have spent more time in the Word lately and have been blessed by it, as always.
