Blessed Busy
WWhat a lovely WEDNESDAY! This morning Richard and I drove over to visit a friend and surprise her on her birthday with a "Bag of Blessings," just various inexpensive gifts I pray will have special meaning for her. She lives in downtown Orlando and the drive was interesting and the sights stimulating.
Next we drove to Tampa and took care of business there. On the way, there was a huge wreck on the east-bound side. Traffic was backed up for miles. I thought of how favored I am to have survived the various car wrecks I've been in. None my fault, just in case you were hoping never to ride with me.
On our way back east toward home, traffic was still slowed to a crawl, so we took back roads. I called ahead to have kathy print out our Weekly Prayer Focus that I would be reporting on later after our "Backyard" services. Backyard was wonderful and we had a great turnout, but when it was time for me to report, I couldn't read the printout. My "regular" glasses are broken and these older reading glasses just didn't cut it. But the Holy Spirit led anyway.
Tomorrow, I am going shopping with Juanita to find a nice low bookcase to use for a church book share. Then, Friday, Donna and Debi and I are going to Epcot... a busy, but fun weekAnd my day was like this...
