All my
graphics are created with the leading of
the Holy Spirit as I pray while I work.
It was especially important to me that I
honored my Lord with ionanet's home
graphics theme, and it took some time to
come up with one that I felt was right
based on the peace and joy that filled my
heart. This set simply flowed forth after
days of struggle with other ideas, and
its meaning welled in my heart and sent
it soaring with glory and honor to the
Father. Please join me in this graphical
hymn of praise...
As in
all my work, blue represents truth and
purity. The gleaming blue gem represents
the regenerated believer, so priceless to
the Lord that He gave all He had to
purchase it! Each believer is a gem in
the Lord's crown of glory. Yes, dear
heart, Jesus paid the ultimate price for
you... because in full agreement with God
the Father, He knew you to be a priceless
treasure He longed to add to His crown.
So, even
though you may not yet realize your
value, the Lord God does, and has known
it forever... long before you were born
He loved you and knew you.
Note the
light which seems to shine from deep
within the gemstone... Actually, it is
reflected Light, for gems don't gleam in
the dark. The Light comes from He who is
the Light of the world. Without Him we
have no Light, but through Him, we can
reflect His lovely Light to all the
world.
Notice
the heavy mounting in which the stone is
set. This has two meanings... before
coming to Christ, the heart is hard and
cold and dark... as the mounting would be
without the glowing gem. Now, with the
priceless stone in place, the mounting
represents the full armor of God and
reflects the Light from the stone.
In the
top border, the mounted stones are
connected to a flowing amorphous plasma -
biological life - which is entwined in a
multicolored and chaotic mass
representing the physical earth and the
society of man. None of it has any real
form or sense or purpose... except the
mounted gemstones. For without Jesus
Christ, life indeed is without meaning or
purpose; it is in vain, lost in a mass of
chaos and leading to eternal doom.

however I request you do not
